Me, My Website, and My Mission
Hey! My name's Owen, I'm a 28 year old songwriter, sesame chicken connoisseur, and disabled human rights activist from the shores of The Great Lakes Region. I deal with chronic pain and can't do much right now but just because I'm down doesn't mean I'm out. I'm seeing doctors but for the time being I'm focused on creative growth,
The underlying ethical mission of my creative work is centered on giving people hope, critiquing the authoritarian bastards of the earth, and encouraging folks to use their gorgeous but oft-neglected minds.
there are a few other things I'd like to do before I croak:
I'd like to start travelling the world in my minivan in search of a place to call home, kind of documenting what I see along the way through photography, song, and the good ol' written word
I've got a small property in New Mexico that I plan on turning into a regenerative microhomestead to use as a base of operations!
Eventually, I'd like to go back to college, and pursue a graduate path. I'd like to start by getting an associates degree in journalism (perhaps with a minor in something practical lol) then pivot to the humanities or the liberal arts more broadly after which I'd like to get a graduate degree focused on the spread of the Indo-European language family across Eurasia. Until that day comes, I'll be studying our strange world independently and sharing the cool stuff I find with the many peoples of the internet.
